CHAPTER 1 - LEAVE POLICY
Section 1 - Information on Leave
The maximum amount of leave Personnel may take in a single frame is 14 days in USAF.
- Personnel who need more than 14 days of leave, must seek approval from DCS MP&S and will be considered as Extended Leave
- Personnel who are returning from leave regardless of the timeframe, there will be a cooldown of 30 days. DCS MP&S & SLC reserve the right to waive the cooldown
- Personnel who wish to extend their leave should request from their MOS DCS and upon approval, they are to inform DCS MP&S
- Personnel who are in MOS should notify their respective Chain of Command prior to applying for leave
- Personnel who are not in MOS should notify the AFPC Chain of Command prior to applying for leave
- Personnel that have been approved for leave of 3 or more days in a week shall be exempted from SoW (if applicable)
Section 2 - Guidelines on Leave
- Personnel are not allowed to engage in HQ duties while on leave
- Should you be noticed by Air Staff for being very active in HQ, your MOS Chain of Command will be notified and you may be asked to return to Active Duty
- Personnel are required to insert “*OL*” at the beginning of the motto
- O1+ who are on leave should enter HQ in professional civilian attire
- Command members may be removed from their position at the discretionary of their respective MOS DCS should they be on leave for more than 30 days consecutively
- Leave requests can be submitted through PTS under “Other Forms”
CHAPTER 2 - RESERVE DUTY
Section 1 - Information on Reserve Duty
The purpose of Reserve Duty is to aid Personnel who cannot meet the requirements of Active Duty as well as the guidelines of leave request. The Reserve Duty also aims to support members who wish to remain in USAF even though commitments are tight in real life.
Section 2 - Guidelines on Reserve Duty
- Reserve Duty lasts for 180 days in a single frame
- Personnel must request for extension upon reaching 180 days, should personnel require more time
- Personnel must login to the client once every 30 days, or else will be deemed as AWOL
- Personnel should not be serving any disciplinary actions or part of an ongoing investigation. Should there be a request of Reserve Duty during time of serving disciplinary action or on-going investigations, the request will be rejected and personnel can be liable for Article 14 - Evasion of Punishment.
- Personnel are required to insert “*RD*” at the beginning of their motto once their request is approved
- Personnel are not allowed to be in MOS while on Reserve Duty
- Personnel who wish to visit the headquarters while on Reserve should abide with Regulation 3 at all times
- Personnel cannot be promoted or receive appointment to any command position(s) while on Reserve
Personnel on reserve duty will have their rank adjusted according to the table below:

Upon reinstating back to Active Duty, the rank will be readjusted back to their original rank by the DCS MP&S.
CHAPTER 3 - INACTIVE DUTY
Section 1 - Information on Inactive Duty
Inactive Duty allows personnel who are not active on HQ and unable to perform their required duties, but continues to remain part of the military reserve.
Section 2 - Guidelines on Inactive Duty
2.1 - Personnel will be placed on Inactive Duty when their last login reaches 10 days and above.
- Those placed on Inactive Duty will be removed from all server roles
- Inactive Duty personnel will be given an Inactive role
- Inactive personnel’s PTS account shall be removed temporarily.
2.2 - Inactive Duty for Personnel with last login of 30 days.
- Personnel who did not log in for 30 days shall be General Discharged.
In the event where a personnel comes online but does not return to active duty for more than 60 days, they shall be General Discharged. Inactive Duty personnel must notify the Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC) to return to Active Duty.
